May peace and comfort be with you and your family at this difficult time.
I was best friends in high school with Mr. Dean’s oldest son Micheal. Because my Dad didn’t hunt Mr. Dean and Michael took me with them on many occasions to Squirrel and Deer hunt. They taught me many good skills in those early years but most of all I thank him so much for those memories and sharing his “father and son” time with me.
Michael, Don and Monica my prayers are with you and your families. RIP Mr. Dean and please tell Ms. Loretta thank you for me for all those wonderful meals and cold Pepsi’s she fed me when hanging out at your house.
I worked with Dean for many years at CLECO. My dad rabbit hunted with Dean also many years ago and my mom worked alongside Loretta. I have many fond memories of Dean. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers for Dean and his family.
Dang where to start, been knowing Mr Dean all my life, him and my dad are good friends, and till the day he passed away he would go see my dad every day, drink coffee and sit around and talk about everything. Mr Dean loved hunting, he also was a good singer, and a very good guitar player, but he loved telling story's and jokes, man he could tell some jokes, so with that said RIP Mr Dean I will miss you. Your friend ( BOZO )
I remember him well, from church and True Value. He was always polite and helpful,I pray for him and his family left behind to grieve. May He Rest In Peace.
Dean and I share the same middle name, I often wondered where the name Dean came from, I never thought to ask my Mother or Aunt Susie while they were still alive. Dean lived in China when he was younger, I was a tomboy, I tagged alone every where, my brother Russell [BOY] Dean and Puchy went, I was there to. Once we were fishing and he caught a turtle ,I was put in charge of carrying it as I was trying to crawl through the fence I got to close to Dean and the turtle bit him on the back, It is funny now it was not back then....I will keep you all in my prayers. and I will hold all these wonderful memories in my heart. Love always, Gloria Dean Jacobs,[Fontenot]
Goodness, where to start? I’ve sung to his accompaniment many times over the years, starting when I was a child. Beyond making music, he was a fantastic friend to many people. He absolutely loved being in a position to help others, with no recognition. But all who knew him knew all this. Dean, fly high. Be sure to sing something with my momma
Will miss him greatly. Worked with him for years at True Value! RIP!
