Donald Fruge passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at the age of 66. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, October 4, 2023 at St. Augustine Catholic Church with Father Keenan Brown Celebrant. Interment of his ashes will be at St. Augustine Cemetery at a later date. At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son Basile location on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from noon until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by The Knights of Columbus. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of departure for Services. Donald is survived by his wife, Cheryl Duplechain Fruge; two daughters, Monica Weber (Russell), Keesha Suydam (Christopher); three brothers, Gerald Fruge (Sharon), John Fruge, Preston Fruge (Elaine); one sister, Brenda Lamberth; three grandchildren, Aidan, Evan and Ahni. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Chapman Fruge; three brothers, Randy, Harold and James Fruge; two sisters, Lillian Taheney and Helen Marcantel.
