Debra Young Adaway passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2019 at the age of 55. A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 2:00–4:00 PM at Freedom Baptist Church. Debra is survived by one son, Kalyn Adaway and wife Michelle; two step sons, Will Adaway, Dustin Adaway; one stepdaughter, Desiree Murray; two sisters, Kathleen Guidry, Robin Young; two grandchildren, Kalvin Adaway, Jerome Freeman Adaway; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Royal Young, Jr.; her mother, Joyce Mae Thibodeaux Johnson; her husband, Wilbert Adaway; two brothers, Donald Swarthout, Frankie Swarthout; two sisters, Renella Doucet, Cindy Swarthout; stepsister, Patsy Johnson.
