Deanna Young Prather passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at the age of 80. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Swanson officiating. Entombment will follow in S. Paul Mausoleum. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 8:00 AM until time of Services. Deanna is survived by two sons, Verland Prather (deceased Pam), Tommy Prather (Roanleigh); two daughters, Monica Doucet (Timothy), Pamela Marcantel (Kennard); one brother, Gilbert Young (deceased Sandra), two sisters, Eddie Reviere (deceased Clarence), Linda Slocum (deceased Lacy); eleven grandchildren, Amber, Henry, Ryan, Brittney, Jon-Eric, Megan, Hannah, Elizabeth, Brooke, Gary, Travis; ten great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lathan, Christian, Brayland, Weston, Avery, Declan, Hunter, Stetson, Roman and her beloved dog, Gurley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Burley Prather; her parents, Vinel and Alie Courville Young; two brothers, Henry Young (deceased Dorothy), John Dillard Young (deceased Ruby).
