David "Scot" Simar passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024 at the age of 66. A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 12, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dennis Gotreaux officiating. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until time of Services on Friday. "Scot" is survived by his companion, Wilma Luna; four sons, David Simar, Adam Simar, Jonathan Simar, Nicholas Simar; two daughters, Gretchen Simar, Heather Simar; special bonus daughter, Krystal Bullock and husband Jordan; four brothers, Ben Simar, Tommy Simar, Johnny Simar and wife Jennie , Matthew Simar and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis M. Simar and Irma Jean Fontenot Simar.
