David Dale Duplechin passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at the age of 37.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial will follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Mowata. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate.

He is survived by his father, Dolan Duplechin of Eunice; one son, Dominic C. Duplechin of Basile; two sisters, Jennifer Duplechin of Eunice and Michelle Duplechin of Breaux Bridge; three nieces, Macie Hayworth, Krislynn Hayworth, and Mercedes Lemalle.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Aguillard Duplechin; one brother, Christopher G. Duplechin; one sister, Rachel Faye Duplechin; one nephew, Dylan Duplechin.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017, from 1:00 PM until 12:00 midnight at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed Thursday at 6:00 PM by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen on Friday for visitation at 8:00 AM until time of service.
