Dallas Smith passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016, at the age of 93.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Dallas is survived by his wife, Wilda Smith of Eunice; one son, Derrel "BB" Smith and wife Michelle of Eunice; one sister, Lennis "Pie" Smith; five grandchildren, Brandi, David, Caleb, Dustin, and Robyn; and five great-grandchildren, Kirsten, Addi, Cade, Jayce, and Austyn;

Dallas was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Smith and Anna Fruge Smith; one son, Robert Smith; two grandchildren, Mike and Benjamin; and three brothers, Hilman Smith, Norris Smith, and Murphy Smith.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 2016, from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen on Thursday at 8:00 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
