It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Courtney Shavonne Neville, a cherished soul whose life was defined by her unwavering devotion to family. Born on November 18, 1980, Courtney peacefully passed away on March 18, 2026, at age 45, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at New Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Allen Ben officiating. Visitation will be held at the church the same day from 8:00 AM until 9:45 AM. Cremation will follow services.
Courtney was a beacon of light to those around her, always putting her family at the heart of everything she did. She found joy in the simple, yet profound pleasures of life – spending quality time with her loved ones and sharing laughter and stories over meals out. Her passion for these moments reflected her family-oriented spirit, a trait that made her home a sanctuary of comfort and togetherness.
She is lovingly remembered by her two sons, Kaevon Thomas and Scott Bullock, her two daughters, Jamila Scott and Kaylon Thomas, and her devoted sister, Tammie Leblue. These are the hearts she held closest, and they will carry forward her memory with love and reverence.
Courtney was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Louis Thomas, and her dear parents, Allen Neville and Genevieve Lebleu Neville, whose influence and love guided her throughout her life.
The impact of Courtney’s gentle and loving spirit will be felt far and wide. Her peaceful passing brings a quiet end to a life lived fully in the embrace of family and friendship. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life rich with meaning, kindness, and the enduring power of love. Courtney Shavonne Neville will be deeply missed but forever treasured in the hearts of all who knew her.
