Corine Savoy passed away on Saturday May 11, 2013 at the age of 84. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013 at 11 AM at St. Matilda Catholic Church in Eunice. Father Darren Eldridge will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Matilda Cemetery. Corine is survived by one daughter, Umaja Savoy of Houston, TX; and one sister, Avelia DeVille of Los Angeles, CA. She is preceded in death by her parents, Octave and Marie Senegal Savoy; two sisters, Evelyn Savoy and Alma Guillory; and six brothers, Sidney Savoy, Arthur Savoy, Isreal Savoy, Evereal Savoy, Even Savoy, and Evan Savoy. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Saturday May 18, 2013 at 8 AM to 10 AM. A Rosary will be prayed at 9:30 AM. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
