Clyde "Slug" Earl Hicks, Sr. passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at the age of 73. A Celebration of Life will be held on on Saturday, July 25, 2020 in light of the need for everyone to isolate at this time. More details to come later. Clyde is survived by one son, Clyde "Beau" Hicks, II and wife Tonya; one daughter, Christina Jachens and husband Jon; two brothers, Ted Hicks and wife Connie, Jeffery Francois and wife Sandra; three sisters, Lavonia Fontenot, Diane Pommier, Adele Jeanes; eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nina Jackson Fontenot.
