Clayton Janise entered into the presence of his Lord Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 71, just one day before his 72nd birthday. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastors Robert Kratzer and Jamie Tyler officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday, November 21, 2022 and will resume at 8:00 AM Tuesday until time of Services. Clayton loved his family and spending time with them. Clayton worked in the oilfield as a mud consultant for 35 years. He also taught at AACA Christian School for 4 years. He attended Assembly of God Church in Jennings, La. Some of his favorite things to do were cooking, working with his hands, woodworking, mechanic work, reading and traveling. Clayton is survived by his wife of fifty-three years, Sharon Martel Janise; three sons, Clayton James Janise and wife Allison, Wesley Blake Janise and wife Desiree, David Andrew Janise and wife Bethany; one daughter, Brandi Janise; two brothers, Sherman Janise and wife Marie, Clifford Janise and wife Diane; two sisters, Betty Guillory, Jackie Janise; fourteen grandchildren, Avenlea, Kyla, Collin, Isaac, Levi, Andria, Gavin, Jode, Payton, Gaege, Bently, Aubrie, Jordan, Zoe; two great-grandchildren, Joy and Warren. He was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Ray Janise; his parents, Exile and Delia LeJeune Janise; four sisters, Irene Credeur, Lisa Janise, Jane Boone, Christine Fontenot.
