Clara Dale Roy Courville passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019, at the age of 69. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019, at 1:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Basile. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Augustine Mausoleum in Basile. Clara is survived by one daughter, Denise Clark and companion Cody Ponson; one son in law, Stephan Clark; one brother; John H Roy, two sisters; Ethel Granger and Ruth Spell, three grandchildren; Candace, Zachary and Shannon, two great grandchildren; Savannah Rose and Skylar Rae.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Adley Roy and Alice Ashford Roy, her husband; Dennis Courville and one brother; Ernest Roy.

At the request of the family visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2019 at 9:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Basile. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2019. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. The funeral home will reopen on Tuesday at 9:00 AM until time of services. Quirk and Son Funeral Home of Basile is in charge of the arrangements.
