A Funeral Service for Clara Laughlin Habr will be held on Sunday, August 19, 2012, at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Branch, LA at 2:00 PM. Clara was born on March 8, 1917, and passed away on August 17, 2012, at the age of 95. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012, from 4 until 10 PM. Burial will follow at Pilgrim Rest Cemetery. Pastor Orville Rogers officiated.

Clara is survived by two nieces, Thelma Hukins of Bunkie, LA and Joyce Stagg Fruge of Opelousas, LA; a host of great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.A. Laughlin and Lottie Davis; her husband, James Habr; two sisters, Lillian Middlebrooks and Bessie Huckaby.
