A Funeral Service for Clara Guidry, age 83, will be held on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 11 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice, LA. Pastor Ron Lacombe will officiate. Clara passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at American Legion Hospital in Crowley, LA.

She is survived by her son, Wayne Kibodeaux of Iota, LA; two daughters, Sandra Martin of Lafayette, LA, and Pamela Sue Guidry and husband Levans of Eunice, LA; three sisters, Brunella Swanson of Houston, TX, Dorothy Spinks of Tennessee, and Shirley Ann Medwedeff of Friendswood, TX; four step sisters, Myrna Spellino, Brenda Bourque, Marlene Menard, and Jeanette Bourque; twenty-three grandchildren; forty-four great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry William Guidry & Beulah Marie Veil; two sons, Randall and Phillip Kibodeaux; a great grandchild, Addison Richard; a sister, June Smith; a brother, George Ray Guidry. The family will receive friends on Monday July 23, 2012 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The Funeral Home will reopen on Tuesday July 24, 2012 at 8:00 AM until the time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
