Chester John Miller passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the age of 71. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at St. Edward Catholic Church with Fr. Korey Lavergne Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM, with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Thursday until time of departure for Services. Chester loved his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren and was an awesome husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Chester is survived by his wife, Janet Lee LeJeune Miller; three sons, Colby Miller (Crystal), Kalem Miller (LaGwen), Matthew Miller (Tessa); one daughter, Taylor Miller (Crystal Trahan); one brother, Patrick Miller; two sisters, Mary Andrepont, Lita Sattler; brother-in-law, Herman Miller; sister-in-law, Betty Miller; fourteen grandchildren, Elizabeth, Christian, Colton, Hannah, Dayton, Reyna, Kylen, Alaric, Avaleigh, Xander, Adalyn, Charly, Anakyn, Greyson; three great-grandchildren, Audrey, "T.J." and Evelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Yeve and Therese Leger Miller; three brothers, J.T. Miller, Allen Miller, Tom Miller; one sister, Madeline Mire.
