A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 16, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church at 10AM for Chester Cooper, 92, with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Msg. Robert Romero will officiate. Chester passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012, at Acadian Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Annie Mae Miller Cooper of Eunice; two sons, William Keith Cooper of Anchorage, AK and Kenneth W. Cooper and his wife, Lewana of Eunice; daughters, Nikki C. Fruge and her husband, Archie of Moss Bluff, LA and Yvonne C. Babineaux of Shreveport, LA; 6 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren. Chester was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie O. Cooper and Jophine Logan Cooper; a brother, Allen Cooper; a sister, Leona Shelton; 2 grandsons, David Chad Cooper and Taj Kane Cooper. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday evening at 6 PM by Fr. Nathan Comeaux
