Chasity Dawn Smith Richard passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014, at the age of 38.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 22, 2014, at 10 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church of Eunice. Father Clinton Sensat will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Thomas Cemetery.

Chasity is survived by her husband, Blake Richard of Eunice; her mother, Linda Doucet and husband Dale; two daughters, Lauren Richard and Courtney Richard both of Eunice; a son, Dylan Richard of Eunice; three brothers, Scotty Smith of Eunice, Daniel Doucet of Eunice, and Mervin Smith, Jr. of Rayne; five sisters, Lisa Skelton of Eunice, Sandy Lyons of Eunice, Connie Stagg of Eunice, Leslie Smith of Eunice, and Lisa Doucet of Lafayette.

Chasity was preceded in death by her father, Mervin L. Smith, Sr.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2014, from 10 AM to 10 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday at 6 PM by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM Monday, September 22, 2014, for visitation until time of service.
