Charles Hayes passed away on Wednesday, September 23, 2014, at the age of 83.

A Memorial Service is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2014, at 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home.

Charles is survived by his daughter, Lisa Guyer and husband Joe of Rock Hill South Carolina; one step-daughter, Valerie Broussard of Eunice; two grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Harold P. Hayes and Beatrice Kelly Hayes; his wife, Sybil Young Hayes; one son, John K. Hayes; and one brother, James Hayes.
