Charlene Godeau Sittig passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at the age of 69.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Fr. Allen Breaux will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Thomas More Cemetery in Eunice.

Charlene is survived by son, Joey Dies of Eunice; granddaughter, Hannah D. Ortego and husband Jonathon of Eunice; one grandson, Ryan Bellard of Eunice; and three great-grandchildren; Chance, Brookly, and Austin.

Charlene was preceded in death by her first husband, John Dies; her second husband, Rodney Sittig; her parents, Antoine Godeau and Zula Miller Godeau; and one brother, Chester Godeau.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2016, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. for visitation until the time of service.
