Charlene Guidry Benoit passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at the age of 72. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Quirk & Son Chapel with Reverend Alvin Ogea officiating. Burial will follow in Courville Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 9 AM until time of Services. 

Charlene is survived by her husband, Balford Benoit; two sisters, Brenda Frieson and Cynthia David and her best friend, Bridget Fitzgerald. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Merlis Guidry; her mother, Izora Lavergne Bazinet; two sisters, Cheryl Turner and Debra Guidry.
