With heavy hearts and deep affection, we remember Chad Joseph Gallien, Sr., who was born on November 6, 1980, and passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026. Chad’s journey through life was a source of inspiration to all who knew him—his warmth and dedication created a legacy that will live on through his children, loved ones, and the many lives he touched. No services have been planned at this time.

Chad’s life was woven with love, kindness, and an unwavering sense of loyalty to his family. He was the beloved son of the late Joseph Lawrence Gallien and Gracie Gobert Gallien, whose values shaped the caring and steadfast man he became. He was also preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Pervick and Stelzia Gobert; his paternal grandparents, Lawrence and Theresa Gallien.

That same steadfastness flourished in Chad’s own family with his fiance, Hannah Bernard and where he was a devoted father to Chad Gallien, Jr., Chaynce Gallien, D’shia Gallien, Chazzinique Gallien, and Eleni Gallien. To his children, Chad was a guiding light—a teacher, protector, and friend, whose patience and encouragement guided them through life’s milestones both large and small.

He also held a treasured place in the lives of his siblings and extended family: his brother Brian Charles (Tammy) and his sisters, Camiel Carrier and Dalya Lewis each carry memories of shared laughter and brotherly camaraderie. Chad’s openness and generous nature extended beyond immediate family to a host of aunts and uncles. They considered him an irreplaceable part of their world. Each relationship Chad fostered was marked by care and sincerity that defined him at his very core.

Among the many passions that shaped Chad’s extraordinary life was his love for horses. This affection was more than a hobby or pastime—it was something innate within him, a bond that reflected his spirit of gentleness and respect for every living creature. The joy he found in the company of horses was evident to all who knew him, and it created countless stories that his friends and family will continue to share and cherish. He also enjoyed breeding dogs.

Through every trial and triumph, Chad remained grounded by love and guided by compassion. He lived his life for others, never shying from offering a helping hand or a word of encouragement. His legacy is one of laughter, resilience, and boundless love.

As we mourn the loss of Chad Joseph Gallien, Sr., we take comfort in the profound impact he leaves behind—in the devoted children he raised, the family that adored him, and in the enduring memories and stories that will keep his spirit alive for years to come. Chad’s life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and though he may have left this world, the love he so freely gave endures in all those who knew him.
