A old friend and a good man
Always friendly and smiling. I remember hunting with him In East TX when I was just a kid. He always welcomed me to come out anytime. Even 30 years later when we became friends on Facebook, he invited me to come hunt the place again. Sure wish I would have. Rest in peace Cecil.
I will forever be grateful for the time I got to spend with him on the farm in the hills of east Texas which was truly his happy place ! I was fortunate enough to be able to ride shotgun with him for 40 years listening to story after story about hunting and fishing with his grandpaw, his dad and his uncles on this land he loved so much ! I look forward to the time when Josh and I can bring Tate there and tell him story after story about his amazing great grandpaw Cecil ! Although they only knew each other a short time I promise Tate will always know that his great grandpaw loved him more than life itself !!!
