Carl Anthony Bertrand passed away on Monday, June 23, 2014, at the age of 56. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014, at 1 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Pastor Eugene Reisner will officiate. Burial will follow at St. Bridget Cemetery in Lawtell.

Carl is survived by his father, Elvin Bertrand; wife, Tammie Sutterfield Bertrand; two sons, Daniel Crum of Eunice & Bradley Phillips of Calhoun, LA; one daughter, Alicia Kenly of Eunice; a godchild, Dustin Hamous; six grandchildren.

Carl was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Manuel Bertrand. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. Wednesday for visitation until time of service.
