Camille Fontenot Soileau's Obituary
Camile Fontenot Soileau passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2016, at the age of 93.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann Catholic Church
in Mamou. Fr. Alphonse Thainese will officiate. Burial will follow at Reed Cemetery in Lanse Meg.
Camile is survived by one son, Hilver Soileau of Houston, TX; three daughters, Hilda Carrier and husband
Frederick of Baton Rouge, Larry Jean Reed of Baton Rouge, and Melinda "Nikki" Soileau of Baton Rouge;
two sisters, Irene Ceaser of Lake Charles and Laura Arceneaux of Houston, and TX; one brother, Clifton
Johnwell of Pomona, CA.
Camile was preceded in death by her husband, Enice Soileau; her parents, Joseph Fontenot and Ozelia Pappion
Fontenot Johnwell; two sons, Adam Joseph Soileau and Hillery Soileau; one daughter, Elvery Jean James; four
sisters, Tellie Mae Johnwell, Annie James, Eva Fontenot, and Ethel Guillory; and one brother, Cleveland Fontenot.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Rosary
will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. by Fr. Alphonse Thainese. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday for
visitation until the time of service.
