Bruce Steven Richard passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at the age of 67. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with David Guillory officiating. Cremation will follow. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Sunday from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM, at which time David Guillory will lead a Rosary, followed by Services Bruce was an avid gardener. He loved fishing and camping, but most of all, he loved his grandchildren. Bruce is survived by his wife, Dianna Picard Richard; one son, Todd Richard; one daughter, Erin Cloteaux and husband Shelton; two step-sons, Chris Fontenot and wife Dina, Robert Fontenot and wife Terra; special step-daughter, Julie Elliott and husband Scott; two step-daughters, Alicia Aguillard and husband Chad, Amanda Soileau and husband Jacque; one sister, Marianne Montet and husband Jim; three grandchildren, Maddison, Jace and Shia; nieces Simone Johnson and husband Derrick, Hollie Castille and husband Jon. He was preceded in death by an infant son; his parents, Alexson Richard and Else Neugabauer Richard.; one brother, Bill Richard.
