Brenda Gail Benoit passed away on Saturday April 2, 2013 at the age of 56. Funeral Services will be held on Monday April 8, 2013 at 10 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Deacon David Guillory will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Brenda is survived by one daughter, Celest Clay of Church Point; one son, Sgt. John David Benoit and his wife Jessica of Leesville; two sisters, Hazel Darbonne of Iota and Ruby Duplechain of Church Point; two brothers, Kenneth Miller of Eunice and Oran Miller of Church Point; four grandchildren, Jordan Michael Benoit, Jocelyn Raven Benoit, Jessamine Celest Benoit, and Zeke Allen Clay. She is preceded in death by her parents, Cleavence and Gernice Thibodeaux Miller; her husband, Rogers Benoit; one son, Raven Paul Benoit; one grandson, Raven Paul David Melancon; one sister, Betty Vasseur; and two brothers, Alvin and John Miller.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Sunday April 7, 2013 from 2 PM to 10 PM. The funeral home will reopen at 8 AM Monday morning. A Rosary will be prayed by Deacon David Guillory on Monday at 9 AM. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
