Obituary
Betty Fruge Smith passed away on Friday, December 29, 2017, at the age of 86.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 31, 2017, from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. After the visitation Betty will be cremated.
She is survived by her two sons, Gerald Matt and his wife Prudence of Eunice; Sylvester Smith of Chicago, IL; four brothers, Getty Eval of Eunice, Jerry Eval of Jennings, Chester Fruge of Mason, MI and Jimmy Fruge of Jennings; two sisters, Alice Matt of Roanoke, LA and Sherry Fruge of AL; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Eldridge Fruge and Cora Courville; her husband Nat Smith; one son Darrell Matt; one daughter, Sabrina Matt.
Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
