I can remember when I was about ten years old my football went over her fence and I jumped the fence to get it and she came out and fuss at me .but from then own I would go back to that fence and we would talk all the time . We became good friends then years later I met her grandson Jason and her granddaughter laci and then we all hung out like a second family just think if I would never jump that fence we may have never met . She was such a great person miss Kay I am glad I jump that fence that day you will be missed but not forgotten RSP
I am so sorry to hear of Mrs. Betty's passing. I have gotten to know her over the last several years when she subbed at our school in Iowa. Mrs. Betty was always smiling and such a positive light! She will be missed. Praying for your family.

Betty was full of life, never said anything unkind, and always had that sweet smile. She had the ability to make me laugh and feel better = no matter what. I will miss her and that smile. Prayers for each of you.

I knew Betty as a fellow substitute teacher at Iowa Middle School. She was the kindest little lady, much loved by her coworkers and the special ed children who loved her right back.
