Betty Davis Doucet passed away on Friday April 11, 2014 at the age of 73. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday April 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. Associate Pastor Gerard Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow at Langley Cemetery in Basile. Betty is survived by her husband, Hershel Doucet of Crowley; two step daughters, Suzanne Boullion and Suzette Venable; one sister, Bobbie Guillory and her husband Joseph of Eunice; one brother, Gordon Davis of Center, TX; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marlin and Wilma Porter Davis; one daughter, Vickie McGee Duhon; two sons, Terry McGee and Robert McGee; and one step son, Glen Doucet. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday April 11, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. of Saturday for visitation until time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
