Betty Joyce Cormier Fontenot passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the age of 87. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father John Dugas Celebrant. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held from 1:30 PM until 10:00 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Quirk & Son with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Visitation will resume at 7:00 AM on Friday until time of departure for Services. Betty is survived by three sons, Kenneth Bellard, Paul Bellard (Dawn), Michael Bellard (Ralph); one daughter, Ann Ortwien (Joe); one brother, Harold Cormier (Sherrie); twenty-three grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul JT Bellard; two sons, Phillip Dale Bellard, Ronald Bellard; her parents, Ophie and Mary Savoy Cormier; two brothers, Raphael Cormier, Apton Cormier; one sister, Jackie Blanchard and grandson, Joshua Ortwein.
