Betty Young Carrier passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the age of 87.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018, at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Eunice. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

At the request of the family, visitation will begin on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A rosary will be prayed on Friday, June 8, 2018, at 6:00 PM by Deacon David Guillory. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday for visitation at 8:00 AM until time of services.

Betty is survived by one son, Mike Carrier and wife Gloria; one brother, Eldon Ray Young; four grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Curly and Clerdy Janot Young; her husband, Rosevelt Carrier; one son, Patrick Carrier.

Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
