A Funeral Service will be held for Bessie Brunet LeDoux on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church in Basile, with Reverend Paul Estes officiating. Interment will follow in Baptist Cemetery in Basile. Bessie, born December 3, 1916 in Basile, Louisiana, passed away on December 30, 2019 at the age of 103. She loved her God and was faithful to the end. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at First Baptist Church in Basile, Louisiana and will resume on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. Bessie is survived by three sons, Wayne Frederick LeDoux and wife Alacia , Dennis Wade LeDoux and wife Melva, Jerry Aldin LeDoux and wife Ginny; sixteen grandchildren and thirty-four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Anthony LeDoux; parents, Joseph and Dora Courville Brunet; one daughter, Peggy Johnson; one brother, Nalence Brunet; one sister, Vinus Martin; one granddaughter, Hollie Austin.
