Bertha Shuff Cole passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the age of 86. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 3:00 PM. at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pastor Mark Boehnlein will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Bertha is survived by two sons; Brent Jagneaux and wife Jenny, Edward "Eddie" Cole, Jr. , three daughters; Rebecca J. Blanchard and husband Randy, Elaine Boehnlein and husband Mark, Mona Morales, eighteen grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Shuff and his wife, her husband, Edward Cole Sr., two daughters, Patricia Manuel and Brenda Runnels, numerous brothers and sisters, four grandchildren; Amy Thibodeaux, Brett Manuel, Anthony Jagneaux, and Rachel Blanchard. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
