Bernard Ray Malveaux

Bernard Ray Malveaux, born on February 9, 1964, passed away on March 20, 2026, at Acadian Medical Center at the age of 62. 

He is survived by his beloved son, Elijah Juan Ray Janice (Jamie); his cherished daughter, Courtney Janice (Zack); and the mother of his children, Debra Janice. Bernard also leaves behind a loving extended family including four brothers: Aaron Malveaux (Gloria), Sherman Malveaux, Alvin Malveaux, Jr., and Wilton Malveaux; four sisters: Irene Thomas (Larry), Genola Alfred (Jimmy), Christina Malveaux, and Ruth Malveaux. His heart was further warmed by seven grandchildren: Octavia Janice, Zaniyah Janice, Dwight Damond, Dwilan Janice, Dmahi Damond, Dmonte Damond, and Raylyn Janice, along with two great-grandchildren, Khalil Robinson and Khlani Janice.

Bernard was preceded in death by his son, Kordale Janice, and his loving parents, Alvin Malveaux, Sr. and Willie Mae Jack Malveaux. Their memories remain treasured in the hearts of the family.
