Funeral services for Berna Thibodeaux Comeaux, 87, will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2008, at 2 PM at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Lawrence Cemetery. Fr. Cedric Sonnier officiated.

Berna passed away at her residence on Saturday, October 25, 2008. She is survived by four sons, Austin Comeaux, Jr. & wife Joyce, of Bel Air, MD; Leeander Comeaux & wife Barbara of Basile; John Comeaux & wife Debra of Eunice; Kirk Comeaux & wife Jeanne of Eunice; four daughters, Dolores Moody & husband Rusty, of Eunice; Glenda Young & husband Sonny of Eunice; Debbie Miller & husband Wayne of Eunice; Tina Duplechin & husband Richard of Eunice; one sister, Wilma Bourque of Eunice; 25 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. Berna was preceded in death by her mother,Theolise LeJeune Thibodeaux; daughter, Patricia Fontenot; granddaughter, Sara Beth Duplechin; grandson, Gary Brent Comeaux; daughter-in-law, Pat Comeaux; brother-in-law, Clarence Bourque.
