A funeral service will be held for Barbara Ortego Weideman, 67, on Monday, December 30, 2013, at 10:30 AM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pastor Heather Ardoin will officiate. Barbara passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Glen Weideman of Eunice; one son, Craig Faul of Eunice; one step-daughter, Crystal Moore of Breaux Bridge; three brothers, Nelwood Ortego of Pine Prairie, Joe Ortego and Jimmy Ortego both of Eunice. Six grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Austin and Lizzida Fontenot Ortego; a daughter, Angela Ashworth; two sons, Chris and Patrick Faul; three brothers, Harry, Roland and Burkman Ortego; two sisters, Bonnie Bordelon and Jane O Conner. Visitation will begin on Sunday, December 29 at 2:00 PM until 10:00 Pm. The funeral home will reopen on Monday at 8:00 AM until service time at 10:30 AM.
