Barbara Ann Richard Ogea passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at the age of 83. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at Unity Baptist Church with Reverend Greg Gaspard officiating. Burial will follow in First Baptist Church Cemetery in Chataignier. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will resume at 8:00 AM on Wednesday until time of departure for Services. Barbara is survived by her husband, Alvin Ogea; two sons, Rocky Ogea (Linda), Sonny Ogea (Donna); two daughters, Pam Young (Gary), Paula Stelly (Mike); two brothers, Gerald Richard (Robin), Rufus Richard, Jr. (Charmane); seven grandchildren, Jason Young (Katie), Nichole Berza (Chris), Haley Dugas (David), Emily Self (Hunter), Ally Ogea, Randi Stelly and Alexis Stelly (Chase); eleven great-grandchildren, Christian, Owen, Bailey, Monty, Abbigale, Lane, Rhylie, Millie, Drew, Olivia and Carter. She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Ogea; her daughter, Karen Ann Ogea; her parents, Rufus and Ezola McDaniel Richard; her grandson, Chris Young.
