Aubrey Lee Pitre passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2016, at the age of 77.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Aubrey is survived by one daughter, Rose Cutshaw and husband Stanley of TN; three sisters, Audrey Ardoin of Jeanerette, Nelwyne "Nell" Darbonne of Eunice, and Diana Bertrand of Basile; two brothers, Herbert Pitre of McNary and Joseph Lee Pitre of Eunice; three grandchildren, Chantelle Dunbar, Willie Cavalier, and Jimmy Cavalier; and one great-granddaughter, Tiffany Dunbar.

Aubrey was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph L. Pitre and Carolina Bertrand Pitre; one son, Donald Pitre; and three sisters, Marice Johnson, Eula Mae Johnson, and Lorraine Veillon.

At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Rosary will be prayed at 6:00 p.m. by Deacon Gary Gaudin. The funeral home will reopen at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday for visitation until the time of service.
