Anna Vige Young passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, at the age of 77. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Josh Johnson will officiate. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum in Eunice. Anna is survived by one son, Kevin Young and wife Robin of Denham Springs; one daughter, Kayln Manuel and husband Terry of Oberlin; one sister, Judy Vige Darbonne of New Roads; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Vige and Dora Fontenot Vige; her husband, Larry Young, Sr.; one son, Larry Young, Jr.; and one brother, Shirley Vige, Sr. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 from 12:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral home will reopen at 8 a.m. on Thursday for visitation until the time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
