Anna Jane Vige Duplechin passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025 at the age of 97. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Heather Ardoin officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford Cemetery. At the request of family, visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Father Sam Fontana. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Tuesday until time of Services. Anna is survived by two sons, Michael Duplechin, Jeffery Duplechin; one daughter, Paula Leger (Kert); eleven grandchildren, Kylie Duplechin, Beaux Duplechin, Shannon Roy Duplechin, Ashlie Nicole Leger, Joshua Kert Leger, John Albert Guidry, Jr., Daniel Shane Guidry, Steven Troy Guidry, Sherry Suzanne Eaves, Dusty Noel Marcantel, Bridgette Denae Marcantel; thirty-two great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy J. Duplechin; two daughters, Jennifer "Tottie" Guidry and Larria Marcantel; her parents, Louis and Helen Ardoin Vige; two brothers, Aaron "Son" Fuselier and Louis Vige, Jr.; three sisters, Dorothy Lou Venezia, Delta Mae Powell, Flora Dean Daigle; two grandchildren, Shannon Roy Guidry, Baby Guidry; two great-grandchildren , Melaine Guidry and Bentley Guidry.
