Anna Aguillard Courville passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the age of 93. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. Pastor Alvin Ogea will officiate. Burial will follow at Chataignier Baptist Cemetery in Chataignier. Anna is survived by one son, Andy Courville and wife Darleen of Eunice; one daughter, Deborah DeRouen and husband Mark of Eunice; son-in-law, James Maxfield , Sr; twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and seven great great-grandchildren. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, George Dewey Courville; her parents, Sidney Aguillard and Melicia Manuel Aguillard; two sons, Charles Courville and Sidney Paul Courville; one daughter, Gwen Maxfield; six brothers, Albert Aguillard, Jessie Aguillard, Wilfred Aguillard, Franklin Aguillard, Chester Aguillard and Hamilton Aguillard; two sisters, Nazel Fontenot and Helen Stevens; and two grandsons, Phillip Courville and Jeremy Maxfield. At the request of the family, visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. The funeral home will reopen at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for visitation until the time of service. Quirk & Son Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
