Ann "Chickie" Boenig, 43, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2009, Heart Hospital in Lafayette. She is survived by her Mother, Merlina Fruge Young of Basile; her father, Ronald Sittig, Sr. of Eunice; one son Charles Boenig of Morgan City; two daughters, Paige Boenig of Eunice & JoAnna Spell of Eunice; four brothers, Clint Sittig & wife Tammy , Donnie Sittig, Joseph "JJ" Young & Ronald Sittig, Jr. & wife Tabitha all of Eunice; two sisters, Delsia & husband Tony and Chassity Sittig of Eunice. Two grandchildren, Ji'laih Boenig & Da Shae Davis. A two hour visitation will be held on Sunday, April 19 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice. A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 20, at 2 PM in Basile at the First Baptist Church with interment at First Baptist Church Cemetery.
