Andrew Steven Oberste, a dedicated Computer IT Specialist, passed away on May 18, 2026, leaving behind a legacy marked by his professional skill and the deep love he held for his family. Born on December 10, 1983, Andrew's life was characterized by a commitment to excellence and a heartfelt devotion to those closest to him.
Andrew's career as a Computer IT Specialist reflected his aptitude for technology and his passion for problem-solving. His expertise and dedication made a significant impact in his field, earning him respect and admiration from colleagues and clients alike.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Kathy Patin Oberste, who supported him throughout his life; his son, Andrew George Oberste; his three daughters, Kaydie Ann Oberste, Stevie Grace Oberste, and Chloe Nicole Vidrine. Andrew’s devotion to his children was a guiding force in his life, and he took great pride in watching them grow and thrive. He also leaves behind a cherished granddaughter, Ella Noelle Vidrine, who brought joy and light into his days.
Andrew is also survived by his brother, Aaron Oberste, and his sister, Amber Rose Oberste Shadow, both of whom shared a close bond with him through the years. Together with his loving family, they carry forward his memory and the values he imparted.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Oberste, whose memory remains a lasting influence in Andrew’s life.
Visitation for Andrew Steven Oberste will be held on Monday, May 25, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home. The funeral service will immediately follow at Quirk & Son Chapel with Reverend Alvin Ogea officiating. Cremation will follow.
Andrew’s passing is mourned by all who knew him, as he was a man of integrity, intelligence, and unwavering kindness. His memory will forever be cherished by his family and friends, who continue to hold him close in their hearts.
