Andrew Fuselier's Obituary
Andrew Fuselier, age 86, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2026. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 12, 2026 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father John Dugas Celebrant. Entombment will follow in St. Paul Mausoleum.
At the request of family, visitation will be held at Quirk & Son the same day from 8:00 AM until 1:15 PM, at which time Deacon Gary Gaudin will pray the Rosary, followed my departure for Services.
Andrew was a member of the Knights of Columbus St. Anthony of Padua #1745. He was elected Worthy Grand Knight, whereas he served his fellow Knights and led his council in service to family, Church and community.
He served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, “Semper Fi”.
Andrew also worked at Bell South telephone company for over 40 years.
Andrew is survived by two sons, Christopher “Barrett” Fuselier (Carol), Jonah Fuselier (Wendy); one daughter, Rene Kidder (Kenneth); one sister, Barbara Thibodeaux (Burnell); ten grandchildren, Kelly Fuselier (Miranda), Lauren Fuselier, Luke Fuselier, Katelyn Lanier (Trevor), Ian Fuselier, Megan Fuselier, Samantha Kidder, Forrest Kidder (Cassi), Hayden Kidder (Hannah), Ashton Kidder; six great-grandchildren, Jedidiah, Vivienne, Cael, Rilee, Waylon and Avery.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary “Loretta” Ardoin Fuselier; his parents, Kelly Fuselier and Vernice LaFleur Fuselier and one brother, Nason Fuselier; sister-in-law, Lurline Fuselier.
