Ambrose Joseph "Brownie" Duplechin passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at the age of 92. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Eunice. Entombment will follow at St. Paul Mausoleum. Msgr. Robert Romero will officiate. At the request of the family visitation will begin on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 1:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice and will reopen on Monday at 8:00 AM until time of services. A rosary will be prayed on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at 6:00PM. Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Ambrose is survived by his son, Jeffery P. Duplechin and wife Cynthia, two daughters; Andrea D. Taylor and husband Scott, Wesley Ann Miller and husband, Albert, Jr. six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Ambrose was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Duplechin and Lilly Janot Duplechin, his wife, Lorraine Andrus Duplechin, two sisters; Lilly Mae "Sho-man" Maxie, Myra Louise "Bea" Brown. Quirk and Son Funeral Home in Eunice is in charge of the arrangements.
