Amar "Ronald" Johnson passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the age of 64. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home of Eunice with Deacon Chuck Ortego officiating. Burial will follow in Ashford Cemetery in Basile. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Quirk & Son with a Rosary at 6:00 PM by Deacon Chuck Ortego. Visitation will resume on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 8:00 AM until time of Services. "Ronald" is survived by his wife, Barbara Benoit Johnson; two sons, Ronnie Johnson and wife Tiffany, Nicholas Johnson and wife Jennifer; one daughter, Dawn Carriere and husband Clifford; two brothers, Donald Johnson, Sr., Curtis Johnson, Jr., eleven grandchildren, Garret, Rylie, Logan, Maegan, Raegan, Conner, Trae', Sammi, Scottie, Wyatt, Brynlee; two great-grandchildren, Meredith and Rory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Curtis M Johnson, Sr. and Lula Mae Creuder Johnson.
