Alexander DeVille, Jr. age 74, of Basile, LA, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012, at his residence in Basile, LA.

He is survived by his: Five Daughters: Shirley D. Brown, Basile, LA. Brenda Willis, Basile, LA. Cynthia DeVille, Soileau, LA. Emelda Ceaser, Basile, LA. Tyrika Poullard, Las Vagas, NV.

Two Sisters: Helen Young, Lafayette, LA. Bertha Pitre, Lake Charles, LA.

One Brother: Dallas DeVille, Lake Charles, LA.

10 Grandchildren. 24 Great Grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his: Parents: Alexander DeVille & Eugenie Robinson Deville. Wife: Mary Guillory DeVille. Son: Patrick DeVille. Daughter: Vivian DeVille. Brothers: Allen, Landris & Alice DeVille.

The family will receive friends at Quirk's in Basile from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM, (service time) Saturday, January 28, 2012. A rosary will be prayed at 10:30 AM by Deacon Gary Gaudin. Funeral service will be at Quirk & Son Funeral Home, Basile at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 28, 2012. Burial to follow in Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Basile, LA. Quirk & Son Funeral Home, 2916 W. Stagg Street, Basile is in charge of arrangements.
