Alan "Charlie" Charles Johnson's Obituary
Alan “Charlie” Charles Johnson passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024 at the age of 82. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Quirk & Son Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Gary Gaudin officiating. Cremation will follow.
At the request of family, visitation will be held the same day from 9:30 AM until time of Services.
Charlie enjoyed trail riding, working with his horses and visiting with his buddies. He always had a project and enjoyed working outside. His tractor was his greatest enjoyment. His famous saying was “It won’t take long”.
Charlie is survived by his wife, Pam Matt LaFleur; son, Brent Johnson (Vicki); two daughters, Connie Boyd, Penny Beasley (Gerald); three step-daughters that he loved as his own, Lisa Fontenot (Troy), Ellie Carman (Casey), Beth Brown (Coby); sister, Nita LeJeune (Kermit); eight grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson, Randi Reed (Steven), Rachell Manuel (Josh), Eli Beasley, Victoria Steinback (John Michael, Jr.), Vivian Lagrange (Jordan), Mallory LeGros (Drew), Gavin Brown; eleven great-grandchildren, Emma, Jon-Riley, Jace, Corbyn, Hayden, Stella Rose, Annabelle Grace, Leanna Elaine, Blake Marie, Luca and Gianni.
He also leaves behind a big hole in the lives of his three fur babies who followed him always, Jolie, Maggie Mae and Duke.
He was preceded in death by his son, Anthony Johnson; his parents, Seavan and Doris Veillon Johnson; two brothers, Ronald and Donald Johnson; three sisters, Mercedes LeBleu, Elaine Businella, Brenda Johnson; grandchild, Charlie Rose Beasley.
Pallbearers are Joshua Manuel, Steven Reed, Jeremy Johnson, Troy Fontenot, Gavin Brown and Coby Brown. Honorary pallbearer is Eli Beasley.
