A Funeral service for Ada Lean LeJeune, 80, will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2012, at the First Baptist Church in Basile at 3 PM . Burial will follow in the Baptist Cemetery. Pastor Dwayne Smith will officiate. Ada Lean passed away on Friday, March 8, 2012, at Eunice Manor Nursing Home in Eunice. She is survived by her four sons, Harry Lee Jenkins , Michael Jenkins, John and Mona Jenkins and Greg and Tina Jenkins all of Basile; three daughters, Ellen Dale Celestine of Basile, Amy Manuel Manuel and companion Nathan Moore of Austin, TX and JoAnn McCauley and husband Billy of Carencro; 27 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Cullen Lee Jenkins; second husband, Columbus LeJeune; parents, Edwin and Lezinor Young Fruge; a son Newburn Jenkins; two infant brothers, Joseph & Merlin Fruge; three grandchildren, Bradley Olin Hebert, Georgie Denette Bergeaux and Hayward James Manuel. Visistation will be held at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Basile on Friday, March 9, 2012, from 9 AM until 10 PM. The funeral home will reopen on Saturday at 8 AM until service time.
