A funeral service for Mr. Abrar Miller, Jr. , 74, will be held on Tuesday January 10, 2012, at 2 PM at Quirk & Son Funeral Home in Eunice with burial at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Chataignier, Deacon Gary Gaudin will officiate. Mr. Miller is survived by his wife, Mary Chiasson Miller of Basile; three sons, Franklin Miller and his wife Connie of Albany, LA, Kenneth Miller and his wife Keke of Shreveport, and Darren Miller of Pine Prarie; two daughters, Juene Lalonde and her husnand Raphael of Arnaudville and Phyllis Schlag & Ken of Rockport, TX; three sisters, Leona Ortego of Mamou, Wave Jones of Ville Platte and Nola Ferroux of Pontchatula, LA. 14 Grandchildren & 20 Great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abrar Miller , Sr. and Merant Vidrine Miller; three brothers, Frank, Edgar & Lawrence Miller; three sisters, Rita Miller, Eva Miller & Elnoria Fontenot. A rosary will be prayed at 3 PM by the Sisters of the Academy of the Sacred Heart ; also a French rosary will be prayed at 6 PM.
